MoveType

How an entity moves. Read it with CBaseEntity.MoveType and change it with CBaseEntity.SetMoveType.

public enum MoveType : byte

Namespace: DeadworksManaged.Api
Inherits / implements: byte
Source: Enums/MoveType.cs#L10

Notes

Heroes can only move under Walk and NoClip. Any other value leaves a hero frozen in place.

Values

NameValueDescription
None0Doesn't move at all. Set this on a hero to freeze them in place.
Obsolete1Left over from older versions of the engine. Don't use it.
Walk2Normal hero movement: walking and jumping, with gravity and collision.
Fly3Flying movement without gravity. A hero set to this can't move.
FlyGravity4Flying movement with gravity, like a thrown object. A hero set to this can't move.
VPhysics5Moved by the physics engine, like a prop that can tumble and be knocked around.
Push6Used by doors, elevators and other movers that push whatever is in their way.
NoClip7Flies freely through walls. This is what the noclip cheat command uses on heroes.
Observer8Used for spectators.
Step9Walking movement used by some NPCs, such as neutral creeps.
Sync10Used internally by the game. The game's own tools warn that switching to it behaves strangely.
Custom11Movement handled entirely by the entity's own code. Used internally by the game.
